Listing Policy

Please note that all animals are sold in complete and perfect health, to the best of our knowledge, unless stated otherwise in the listing description. Animals are typically sold unsexed unless the listing explicitly states that the animal is a male or female. If the sex of the animal is important to you and it is not mentioned in the listing, feel free to reach out to us via email or text, and we will do our best to confirm it. However, please understand that we cannot guarantee the sex unless it is clearly stated in the listing.

Payment Policies 

Accepted Payment Methods

Payments are conveniently accepted through Wix Invoice, allowing you to use credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Enjoy a seamless checkout experience with a variety of payment options at your disposal.

Payment Plans 

Please note that we currently do not offer payment plans or deposits for our animals. All animals are available on a first come, first serve basis. We appreciate your understanding!

Shipping Policies

Shipping Cost

Enjoy hassle-free shipping with a flat rate of $50. We offer a live arrival guarantee within the continental U.S. for priority overnight delivery. Plus, shipping is on us for orders over $1000 from Varanid Kingdom LLC.

When We Ship

We use Ship Your Reptiles for ensuring that your new monitor arrives to you safely and go by their shipping guidelines for temperature, weather, FAA flight cancellations and FedEx delays, especially during the winter months. We typically ship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and will finalize all coordination with the customer on our first day of the week for shipping. We ship for next day delivery to the closest FedEx hub that accepts live animals near you. You will receive an email prior to the monitor departing with your tracking information from FedEx so you can see their progress along the way to you. You might have to check your spam folder for your email confirmation. Your monitor should arrive at the FedEx hub no later than 10:30am the following day.

Why Ship to a FedEx Hub?

By delivering to a FedEx hub, your monitor will be in a climate controlled building, allowing you the freedom to pick up anytime that day between delivery and closing time for your FedEx hub. 

Picking Up Your Order

The party whose legal name is on the package must be the party that picks up the package. FedEx requires that ID be presented at pickup. The buyer is responsible for picking up animal(s) within 2 hours of available pickup time or all guarantees are null and void. 

Shipping Temperatures

When looking at the temperature to determine shipping, we look at Suffolk day time highs and the day time high of your location.

Below 38℉ is too cold to ship safely. We will wait for warmer weather.

38 - 69℉ We will use a heat pack to ensure that your monitor arrives safely. 

70 - 95℉ shipping will be good to go. Over 95℉ is too hot to ship safely. We will wait for cooler weather.

When the weather is extremely hot, we may use a cryopak as necessary to ensure that your monitor does not overheat during transit. 

Delays & Shipping Windows

Any reason for a delay prior your monitor being shipped will be discussed with you on the first work day of the week, typically Monday. If you notice any delays during the shipping process, please do not call FedEx directly. Immediately get a hold of us and we will engage Ship Your Reptiles to rectify the issue. Safe shipping windows for the week are determined by Ship Your Reptiles on Tuesday and Wednesday at 12pm EST where we are located. This could mean a last minute cancellation of shipment the day of shipping if Ship Your Reptiles determined that it is unsafe to ship. We realize that this can be frustrating, but we promise that Varanid Kingdom LLC and Ship Your Reptiles has the best interest of your monitor at heart. If you have any questions regarding the shipping guidelines please email or text us for more clarification. 

Refund Policies

DOA Policy

The only time a full refund will be issued is if there is a DOA (dead on arrival). In this case, the buyer will need to contact Varanid Kingdom LLC immediately within 2 hours of initial pickup time. No exceptions! Buyer is required to provide photo and video evidence in such cases to receive a refund. Don't dispose of the deceased animal until all proper documentation that is required is received. In the case of a deceased animal, replacement of the animal is the first option. If a replacement is available, credit or refund is not an option. If a direct replacement is not available, credit toward future purchases can be applied, or a full refund by the same method payment was made.

Injury or Illness Policy

If the buyer receives an animal that they believe has any sort of cosmetic, physical, or medical issue that was not disclosed prior to purchase, buyer must inform Varanid Kingdom LLC within 2 hours of pickup. Once the animal has been in the buyers care and the buyer decides there are no issues after the allotted inspection period of 2 hours, ownership of the animal shifts, and is 100% the buyers responsibility. Any death or issue after this period is on the buyer, as Varanid Kingdom LLC cannot control the buyers care, husbandry, handling, or other circumstances once the animal is no longer in our care. If an issue is found by the buyer within the 2 hour inspection period, written messages with clear detail and photos must be sent to Varanid Kingdom LLC immediately. Resolution will vary case by case. Order of resolution will include replacement, partial refund, or full refund.

Fraud Prevention

We perform all due diligence to prevent fraud and stand behind the validity of every sale under the terms above. We fully document and track every transaction. Any and all attempted payment reversals will be met with litigation and or criminal prosecution. Back charging a card will result in being added to a DO NOT SELL list.

Acclimation Policy

As stated in the refund policy, once an animal is received and in the buyer's care for more than 2 hours, ownership and responsibility falls 100% on the buyer. But to avoid issue, buyers should follow these guidelines:

- Upon receiving the animal, the buyer should open the package as quickly as possible once in a safe and confined space. The buyer should inspect the animal for any issues. This is the buyer's best chance to identify any issues the animal may have, as after the animal is placed in its enclosure it should not be removed for any inspection to eliminate any further stress.

- If no immediate issues are noticed by the buyer, the animal should be placed in its enclosure and observed for a minimum of 30 minutes. During this time the buyer should inspect the animal for any behavioral issues.

- If no issues are apparent, the buyer should leave the animal undisturbed in its enclosure for a minimum of 24 hours, with the possible exception of misting for species that require it for proper husbandry. The animal needs to destress from the very stressful process of shipping.

- After 24 hours of acclimation, food can be offered. The buyer should continue to let the animal settle in its enclosure for at least 12 hours before any handling or removal from housing. Varanid Kingdom LLC recommends avoiding stressful activity or handling for 7 days after the animals arrival.
